Trampoline Park Sleepover Party: The Ultimate Guide
The year 2023 has been a huge year for High Altitude – we launched our new Inflatables area, celebrated Halloween with spooky events, dished out incredible offers and memberships, hosted Santa this December in Norfolk, and launched trampoline park sleepover parties for everyone to enjoy.
But what exactly is a trampoline park sleepover party? How do you book one? And what do you need to bring with you? Don’t worry, we’re here to help! With this ultimate guide to sleepover parties at High Altitude, you’ll have all the information you need.
So if you’re searching for a unique way to celebrate your child’s birthday in Norwich, then keep on reading.
What is a Trampoline Park Sleepover Party
It’s exactly what it says on the tin – a trampoline park sleepover party is a special kind of party offering at High Altitude. As opposed to a normal trampoline park party, this party includes sleeping over for the night at our trampoline park.
Until recently, sleepovers were exclusively for clubs and groups. It was a special way for clubs and groups to reward the children who made up their club, group or team for a number of reasons, like winning a trophy, celebrating perfect attendance, or just because.
Then, one day, we had an idea. We knew the kids that were a part of these clubs and groups loved these sleepovers so much, so we thought we would make them available for everyone in Norfolk.
And so the trampoline park sleepover party was born.
What Happens at a Trampoline Park Sleepover Party
A sleepover party is one of the coolest, most special, and utterly unique ways you can celebrate a special someone’s birthday. Now, it’s all good for us to just tell you that, but here’s why it’s true.
All trampoline sleepover parties follow this same agenda:
- The party starts
- One hour of bouncing
- Time for dinner
- Movie on the trampolines
- Bedtime
- One hour of bouncing in the morning
- Breakfast after bouncing
- Home time
So that’s the agenda for a trampoline park sleepover party at High Altitude. Now that we’ve listed everything you can expect for your birthday boy/girl and their party guests, let’s explain everything you need to know in more detail.
Before Booking Your Sleepover Party
There are some things that are handy for you to know before getting in touch with us to book your party. Following this advice will make for an easy process of getting your party booked
1. Booking your trampoline park sleepover party
Before we get into what you need to do before booking your sleepover party, we’d better tell you how to book it!
Luckily, booking your trampoline sleepover party is easy. Simply head to the ‘Sleepover Parties’ section of our website and fill in the contact form at the bottom of the page.
Or you can get in touch with us by calling or emailing with your enquiry. If you have any questions for us, this is the best way of asking.
2. Have a date and backup dates in mind
If you were to take a look at the official timetable on our website, you’ll see the slots available for parties and exclusive hire bookings. It’s these days and times that your sleepover party could take place, but remember sleepover parties always start at 7pm.
You likely have a particular date in mind for your booking. Whether that’s the date of your child’s birthday, the closest weekend or another date. For this reason, we urge parents and carers to make their booking in plenty of time to reserve your desired date.
If you unfortunately cannot book your first-choice date, have some backup options of dates that you can also do. And it’s a good idea to make sure these dates work for your party guests also.
3. Get a cake ready
When you decide to have a party at our trampoline park, we help out in any way we can, and you’ll have your own party host to help with everything.
One thing we leave up to you is the most important duty of providing the birthday cake. This isn’t because we can’t be bothered, it’s because we know you’ll bake or pick out a much better choice of cake for your little one than we will.
So get baking or head out to the bakery and BYOC (bring your owncake).
4. Let us know the final numbers
After booking your party, we will ask you to kindly provide us with the final number of guests you will be bringing with you on the day of your booking. This way, we can get everything ready for you. This information would be great to get from you two weeks before the date of your booking.
On the Day of Your Sleepover Party
It’s here, it’s finally here, the day of your trampoline park sleepover party! Here are a few things you can expect just before it starts.
1. Things you need for a trampoline park sleepover
We know we’ve listed this under ‘on the day of your sleepover party’, but it’s probably a good idea to have done this step a bit earlier.
As you will be spending the night at our place, there are a few things you need for a trampoline sleepover.
If you’re sleeping on our trampolines, you should bring the following items in a small backpack:
- Sleeping bag
- Pillow
- Camp blankets or fleece blankets
- Yoga/camping mat
- Suitable jump wear
- Water bottle
- Baby wipes (there are no showers on site)
- Clothes for the following day
- Wash bag including deodorant, hairbrush and bands, sanitary products, flannel, toothbrush and toothpaste
- Medication (if needed)
- Torch with spare batteries (wind-up or head torches are ideal)
- Plastic/underwear bag for dirty clothes
- Onesies or PJs and fluffy/warm socks
- Teddy or cuddly
Before arriving for the party, use this time to double, triple, quadruple check you have everything you need.
2. Parking at High Altitude
Here’s a plus point for parents – we have parking at our trampoline court that is free of charge for the whole night and better yet, there’s plenty of space for everyone.
But please keep in mind that it’s a good idea to limit the number of valuables left in your car overnight if you’re staying the whole night.
3. Arrive 15 minutes early
As we said earlier, your trampoline park sleepover party will begin at 7pm. However, we ask sleepover party attendees to arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time. This is because we don’t want the children to miss out on any time lost bouncing while checking in and during the safety briefing.
This is standard with all parties at High Altitude.
4. Waivers must be completed
Back when you booked with us, you will have received a party confirmation email along with a link to fill in your waiver. This needs to be shared with and filled in by all those who wish to bounce and sleep on the trampolines.
Hey, we don’t like boring paperwork either, but our waiver forms are non-negotiable and just one of the ways we hope to keep trampolining safe and enjoyable for everyone.
If you arrive on the day without completing a waiver form, that’s okay, you can do this at check-in, but you may miss out on some awesome party fun.
5. Safety briefing
If you’ve been to our trampoline park before, you know safety is so important to us. This is why everyone who hopes to bounce with us must attend our safety briefing. If safety is important to you too, check out our FAQ page where you may find the answers to any questions you may have.
The Party
As the clock strikes party time, it’s time to leap onto the trampolines and officially get the party started. Here’s a quick rundown on all the finer details of party time. Nothing says party madness quite like the finer details…am I right?
1. Bounce and a private disco
Our trampoline park sleepover parties are exclusive hire events, meaning you and your guests have the whole trampoline court to yourselves. It’s just your birthday child, their guests, your supervisors, and some of the High Altitude crew.
So let loose for one joyful hour of bouncing during your very own private disco. For this, you can bring your own party tunes to play over our huge speakers or we can dive into our party playlist for you.
2. Supper time
Included in the price of your party is supper – a glorious banquet for the birthday child and all of their guests. After working up an appetite, it’s time to tuck in.
Back when you made your trampoline sleepover booking, we would have asked you what food you would like, so it’s all ready for you.
What do kids eat at a trampoline park sleepover party? Pick from these options beforehand:
- Option 1: Pizzas & garlic bread
Toppings options: Pepperoni, Margherita or a mix of both.
- Option 2: Hot dogs & chips
- Option 3: Sandwiches platter
Fillings options: Ham, cheese, jam or chocolate spread.
As well as supper, you can also treat party guests to these add-ons:
Sweet cones – £2
Party slush – £2.50
Tray of chips (serves 10) – £9.95
Tray of chicken nuggets (serves 10) – £19.95
FYI, this is also the menu for standard Over 4s parties and SEN parties. Toddlers, however, get their own menu for Tots Parties.
3. Refreshments always available
We know bouncing isn’t just hungry work, it’s thirsty work too, which is why during the entire party period, squash drinks are always available for free.
The café will be left open in the evening for parents and carers. And when the café closes, tea and coffee provisions will be left out. Don’t say we don’t look after you adults at High Altitude also.
4. Film on the big screen
With full bellies and tired feet, it’s time for everyone to snuggle up and get comfortable to watch a movie on the big screen. Can you really have a sleepover without a movie? Yeah, we didn’t think so either.
And there’s time for one last treat before bed – hot chocolate! Best trampoline park sleepover party ever? Quite possibly.
Bedtime on the Trampolines
Now it’s time for the main event – bedtime. Sleeping right there on the trampolines makes bedtime fun for the children and it’s a unique memory to remember forever.
Depending on the number of guests, everyone can sleep on their own trampoline with the bedding they brought. Or, if needed, two children can share a trampoline on a top-and-tail basis.
Any parents and carers in attendance can either snap up a trampoline for themselves to sleep on, or bring their own bedding to sleep on the floor. With all of the essentials in everyone’s backpacks, and the appropriate bedding, sleeping at ours is so peaceful and cosy.
The Next Morning
How else do you wake up at a trampoline park? With more bouncing of course. As the sun rises, children can get up and get ready for another hour of bouncing madness – that’s one way to wake yourself up.
Then, the time calls for breakfast. Each child will receive a hearty helping of breakfast cereal and after that, it’s time to head home. With some incredible memories, everyone will remember this trampoline park sleepover party as the BEST. PARTY. EVER!
